What to expect

Here at Georgia Fiduciary Group, we want our clients to entrust us as qualified advisors and handle matters as an extension of your family. And in order to earn that trust, we want to ensure you feel as confident in our services as we are in completing them. In an effort to put your mind at ease, we’ve put together a list of frequently asked questions to help you feel more prepared:

A “fiduciary” is a person who owes a special duty of loyalty and good faith, fair dealing and the utmost in ethical character, to another individual or entity. “Fiduciary” is also a generic name for the person or entity that serves as Trustee, Executor, Administrator, or Conservator.

There is no up front cost to hire a fiduciary.  We are paid a statutory commission that is based on a percentage of the assets that we manage.

A fiduciary can be privately nominated or court appointed.  Give us a call and we will walk you through the process.
